Dr. Nafiz Hasan graduted from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at University of Toronto. He then worked at several general dentistry practices doing full scope dentistry for two years before he pursued his specialization in Dental Anesthesia in New York at Jacobi Medical Centre. During the 3 year residency he received medical anesthesiology level training, treating patients for ambulatory medical procedures in the OR, ICU patients and severe trauma patients.

He has extensive training in sedating children and patients with high dental anxiety for dental procedures. He is a current clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, overseeing the graduate Dental Anesthesia residents to treat paediatric and high anxiety patients. He is also a member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesia (ASDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).

In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, golfing and eating out.
