Dr. Nafiz Hasan graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at University of Toronto. He then worked at several general dentistry practices doing full-scope dentistry for two years before pursuing his specialization in Dental Anesthesia in New York at Jacobi Medical Centre. During the three-year residency, he received medical anesthesiology-level training, treating patients for ambulatory medical procedures in the operating room, ICU patients, and severe trauma patients.
He has extensive training in sedating children and patients with high dental anxiety for dental procedures. He is a current clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, overseeing graduate Dental Anesthesia residents as they treat pediatric and high-anxiety patients. He is also a member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesia (ASDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and eating out.
